CLEAR & YELLOW
Our Clear computer glasses completely eliminate glare and significantly reduce the most intense blue light emitted from digital screens and artificial lights, which reduces digital eye strain and improves your health.
Our Yellow glasses will have a stronger effect as the most harmful blue light emitted from screens and artificial lights are completely eliminated, which boosts your mood while further reducing stress.
These glasses are perfect for relaxing your eyes and mind, and can be used both day and night for superior blue light protection, ensuring health benefits.
Frequently asked questions
Why are your lenses colored? Do you offer any clear lenses? (Do clear lens "blue light glasses" work?)
Clear lens blue light blocking glasses are not effective because they do not block the specific range of blue light emitted by modern screens and LED lighting. Most clear lenses block light below 420nm and then quickly allow higher wavelengths to pass through.
Modern digital devices typically produce a strong blue light peak around 455nm, covering the 430 to 470nm range. This is the range that needs to be filtered to meaningfully reduce screen exposure.
Although clear lenses may block some blue light from the sun, that is not their intended purpose. They do not block a significant amount of blue light from smartphones, laptops, televisions, or other LED light sources.
To effectively reduce blue light exposure, lenses must contain sufficient pigment density to absorb these wavelengths. This pigment is what gives our lenses their distinctive color and ensures proper protection.
When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
Why would I wear Blue Light Protection during the day? Don’t we need blue light during the daytime?
Yes, natural blue light plays an important role in regulating your body’s internal clock and supporting daytime alertness. However, today we are exposed to excessive amounts of artificial high energy visible light (HEVL, simplified: blue light) from screens and LED lighting, which is very different from balanced natural sunlight.
Outdoors, blue light glasses help reduce HEVL while maintaining comfortable brightness. To support healthy rhythm regulation, simply remove your glasses for 5 to 10 minutes every hour so your eyes can receive natural daylight without filtration.
Indoors, protection becomes even more important. Artificial light sources, especially LEDs and digital devices, emit a disproportionately high concentration of HEVL, simplified: blue light. Prolonged exposure may contribute to eye strain, headaches, fatigue, and long term stress on the eyes.
Takeaway: Wear blue light protection consistently under artificial lighting and during screen use, and take short outdoor breaks to maintain a healthy natural balance.
Will the tint affect my ability to see colours?
The orange or yellow tint is intentionally designed to filter blue wavelengths. Because of this, certain shades such as blues and greens may appear darker, or slightly muted. This shift is a natural result of effectively blocking the most disruptive blue light.
The adjustment is temporary. Most users adapt within the first one to three uses, after which the visual change feels normal and comfortable.
Is Night Light or reading mode on my phone enough?
Built in device filters such as Night Shift only reduce a portion of blue light, which can also disrupt your sleep cycle. Their effect is limited and applies only to the specific screen you are using.
Our lenses are significantly more powerful, blocking sleep disrupting spectrum between 400 and 480nm. They also protect your eyes from all surrounding artificial light sources, including overhead lighting, televisions, and lamps, not just a single device.
